CHERISHING THE TERROIR TO PRODUCE AUTHENTIC WINES
The history of Domaine des Coteaux Blancs goes back almost half a century.
In 2022, this magnificent estate was taken over by Jannick Jarry & Co. Located in the foothills of the Corniche Angevine, a UNESCO World Heritage site, we are passionate about producing quality wines that reflect the beauty of the Angevine terroirs.
Our story
This project was born out of a passion for the world of wine and an entrepreneurial spirit. Our ambition is to highlight our terroir of origin, the Southern Loire. We took over the estate with the aim of becoming a reference winery for white wines in this region, and of highlighting the Chenin grape vartiety.
Our wine estate
This winegrowing estate covers 33 hectares and benefits from a highly complex geology, with soils based mainly on schist, giving the wines a minerality characteristic of this terroir. We have been in organic conversion for 3 years, and 2024 will be our first labelled harvest.
Our wines
The domaine offers a wide range of wines with the characteristic Loire appellations, Anjou Blanc, Rosé de Loire, Anjou Villages, Cabernet d'Anjou, Crémant de Loire...
We create exceptional Chenin-based white wines, both dry Anjou Blanc and sweet, such as Coteaux du Layon.

OUR PROJECT
Expand the ageing cellar to enhance our wines
At Domaine des Coteaux Blancs, our mission is to produce authentic, high-quality wines. To achieve this, we plan to expand and fit out our barrel cellar in order to work on the ageing of our wines, so that they reveal even more of their terroir.
With €20,000, we'll be able to carry out all the work involved in enlarging and fitting out our winery.
This will enable us to double the surface area, from 50 to 100 m2 and to accommodate more barrels and thus age our wines in better conditions.
With an additional €10,000, we will be able to buy 10 new 225 L barrels, made from French oak and manufactured in the Allier region.
We are opting for gentle steam heating for maturing our dry white wines (Chenin). We'll also be ageing our Coteaux du Layon in barrel, so that you can discover this extraordinary wine in an even more accomplished style.
For our red wines, we prefer a low toast which brings roundness and finesse to our Cabernet Francs. Clos Saint Brieux, our red from Anjou Villages appellation, benefits from this ageing process, with its delicate woodiness.

At Domaine des Coteaux Blancs, we're committed to promoting the French art of living, and we also aim to make you dream by offering exclusive wine tourism experiences (sports and family events, corporate seminars, tastings, dinners...).
By taking part in our project, you'll be contributing to the creation of top-quality wines produced in Anjou.
And to thank you, in addition to the wines you'll receive, which will introduce you to our work, we're offering you the chance to come to our winery for lunch, a night or a weekend, and discover our winemaking profession, through grape-picking days or tastings with our cellar master.
