Purple medium plus intense in colour. Developing, medium plus aroma intensity with more riper black fruit (blueberry, bramble) than Montplaisir. Nice spices (cloves, pepper) as well roasted, wood and tobacco aromas.
On the palate a firm medium plus tannin structure, lot of black fruit and wood and spicy flavours, medium plus body, M+ alcohol, very nice Medium plus acidity giving the wines balance. Medium plus finish with a lot of black fruit and spicy flavours.
Very good wine, needs air and time to develop.
Château MontPlaisir « Cuvée MontPlaisir 2015 »
Purple medium intense in colour Youthful, medium aroma intensity with a layers of red and black ripe fruit.
On the palate supple tannins, soft with a medium body. Medium plus alcohol (giving a bit warmth for the body). Medium plus acidity, medium body and flavour intensity with flavours of bramble, black cherry, little spicy and garigue, soft and well balanced (rather high alcohol for the wine’s body is well integrated) Medium plus length.
Nice wine, well made, young, needs time to develop, and needs air / decanting for opening up when drinking now.
