ORGANIC WINES RECOGNIZED BY EXPERTS


The wines from this terroir, certified organic, are of great finesse and well representative of the Bandol appellation. Domaine de La Font des Pères also recently launched a Vodka and a Gin.

Thanks to their northerly exposure, La Font des Pères red wines are extremely fresh, with red fruit aromas enhanced by silky tannins.

The estate also gives pride of place to white wines, which account for 15% of production. Clairette is at its best in AOC Bandol, in association with Bourboulenc and a touch of Rolle, as it is for the cuvée La Reppe in IGP Mont Caume, associated with Ugni blanc.

Finally, a special mention for Carignan, which never produces such great red wines as when it ages. The La Reppe cuvée, of which Carignan makes up 70%, combined with Mourvèdre, is an wonderful example.

Red Côtes de Provence AOC

Alcoholic fermentation at low temperature in vats, with one or two pump-overs per day.
Optimum maceration is achieved with gentle, low-pressure pressing.
The wine is returned to the tank for malolactic fermentation.

Rosé Côtes de Provence AOC

Hand-harvested and sorted by plot.
De-stemming and low-pressure pressing.
Settling at very low temperature for 5 days.
Alcoholic fermentation and aging in stainless steel tanks.

Alcoholic fermentation in vats with one or two pump-overs per day
Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks
20% aged in oak barrels for 6 months

Total destemming and skin maceration for 2 days.
Settling at very low temperature for 3 days.
Aged 85% in stainless steel tanks and 10% in oak barrels for 5 months.

Skin contact maceration for 15 days and alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts
Gentle pressing at low pressure
Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks
No aging in oak barrels

Sparkling Rosé wine - IGP Var

100% Mourvèdre

Total destemming and crushing
3-day settling at very low temperature.
Second fermentation in méthode champenoise.
Foaming on laths for 18 months minimum.


SPIRITS


At Domaine de La Font des Pères, you can now taste a Gin and a Vodka, whose secret lies in the water used. It's a nod to the estate's name, La Font meaning "spring" in Provençal.

GIN

Combination of 10 aromatic plants in a mixture of 96.5° wine alcohol and water for 48 hours at room temperature.
Distillation of the macerate. Recovery of distillation hearts and dilution at 42°.

VODKA

Created from grapes, our fresh, herbaceous organic vodka is distilled from a blend of water and 96.5% organic alcohol of vinous origin. Recovery of distillation hearts & dilution of hearts at 43°.
